Summertime Blues

Note: This posting will go to both of my active sites.

Summertime finally hit at my home just about the beginning of August. The temperatures have finally made it into the 90s on a regular basis and as a result, my energy and enthusiasm have waned somewhat–though that doesn’t mean they’ve come to a full stop. What this means is that my active updating on these sites will slow down significantly until the weather cools again.

What I will be doing during this time is:

*Installing a CB radio into my Jeep (something I need to do fairly soon.)
*Taking a bit of a vacation to visit my mother and my in-laws.
*Doing some camping (something I haven’t done in 40 years–at least, not in a tent.
*Trail riding in my 4-door Jeep Wrangler (maybe getting in on the sport of Geocaching as well)
*Working on new ideas for stories.

On this latter, I’ve noticed that erotica is becoming quite popular even from authors who aren’t known for this kind of subject matter. Some of the people who read my writing site already have some idea of what I am capable of, though I have never truly published any for general release. This raises a question: Should I, or shouldn’t I? Since both my sites will be getting this question, I expect I’ll receive some quite different answers. I will state that any fiction I write for publication, even if it’s only internet publication, will not be seen on the general blogging site.

If your answer is ‘Yes,’ then add your views of what kind of erotica and just how ‘graphic’ you feel I should go. I have some ideas and already have one new character in mind (though she doesn’t have a name yet,) but I’m always open to new thoughts.

Be that as it may, with things slowing down on both my sites for a while, I’ll be working to develop plans for the cooler seasons. If you have any ideas (or construction skills I can use) let me hear them. Just use the comments section below or use the [Contact Me] link to tell me what you think.
